Default How to stop emails

I have scoured the settings and cannot figure out how to stop email notifications of replies to my posts.

Is this not the setting I needed to do that?

That will only affect future thread subscriptions, but not any you already have set up. Those are managed under your user profile under Subscribed Threads/List Subscriptions. For EACH existing thread subscription, you can change the subscription (e.g., instant, daily, weekly, etc.) or remove it all together.

That is just sets the default setting going forward when you subscribe to new threads. It won't change the setting for previously subscribed threads. You have to go to each individual thread that you have already subscribed to and change the setting from email notification to no notification. Do the following:

1. Go to User CP
2. Click on View All Subscribed Threads
3. Check all the boxes on the right of each message of the ones you want to change. If you want to change all, click the box at the very top to the right of the Notifications in the heading area.
4. At the bottom of the list that defaults to Move To Folder, change it to No Email Notification
5. Click Go.

Note that if your subscribed threads creates more than one page. You will have to repeat the above for each page.
