No not at all it didn't sound as nice as I like! I expected more from the magna flow system. It was bad enough, I ate the cost of the system and labor. I also tried two different magna flow systems before I went back to the bullet system.

the first side out system

The second 2
3" cat back magna flow

My Exhaust sound much better now.

When I accelerate I hear a deep throaty sound as I would expect from a truck with headers and 3" exhaust.

It is a good sound not raspy, a very clean performance sound

TS, Does your truck have a LS diff?... asking if you remembered the friction modifier (fluid) for that...

Gasket scraper goes a long way.

Used a rag to get the rest of the old lube out.

I used Redline lube for LS.

Mags come with a gasket already, so no mess. Little gear lube around it and good to go.

It'll be nice down the road to have a dipstick

All done. I'll get better pics in day light.
Looks great, but a lot of contrast to that cover for the Slayer. Might have to black it out! Lol

Yes LS. I have Friction Modifier, but the Redline gear lube is for LS applications. They said you can add FM if you hear clanging, but that I should be fine. When I did this the other night, I figured I'd rather drive it around first and make the call on whether to add the FM than to have added it and realized that the lube mixture is too thick.

So far it's ran smooth, but I might add some just to be on the safe side. I have a 2000 miles round trip in less than 2 weeks so it needs to be 100%

Trust me, that's happening today. Last night I cleaned up my stock diff cover. Brought it down to bear metal than threw a base coat on it. I have an idea in my mind for it, I'll post pics when it's finished. Check the Parts for Sale thread soon

Done

Got the wood for the new rod rack for sale. 17' of mahogany which is enough for 2 racks with some scrap left over.

My stock diff cover brought to bare metal.

Primered and ready to be baked (heat cured primer)

Killer, Sign that cover and I'll buy it! Will it fit a 2010?
