That's a great idea. I was thinking about making a removable rod holder, but much smaller since I only have one surf rod, for that exact same purpose that I could prop near the tailgate and chill.

You can get fancy or just do something simple. I've looked at the Ranchhand bumpers...like them but don't want to spend the big bucks to ship it to an island far from Texas. I think I settled on a simple light bar, like a smittybilt, with 4 Black Magic lights.

Ordered 2"x6" KC reverse lights. Mounting them this weekend. Wiring them into the reverse lead and to a switch in the cab. Can't see sh*t backing up with tinted tails and windows.

You got it. Either under the hitch or under the frame. I'll have to mock it up to decide.

Love the truck man! You said you have the Hella headlights, how do you like them? was thinking of getting the blackout ones too. Maybe you can answer this too, do they have different bulbs for the amber lights in the middle? Like more of an orange one? Jw And the reverse light idea is awesome might have to look into that too. Thanks man

Thanks. I said I'm getting the Hella Black Magic lights...I don't have them yet unfortunately. Are you talking about the turn signal bulbs in the stock headlights? Or different bulbs for the Hella lights?

If you get a prerunner bar, make sure it holds the lights high enough to still see that custom TunaSlayer badge. I think it would look good if it kept the lights tucked tight to the grille and was powder coated flat black.
