Default SRH's truck Progress

Well i never did a Progress thread and finally decide i should do one.

This is how I got it, bought it used although its a 2wd i couldnt pass up on the price. 1 year ago. This is how it looked. The other F150 next to mine is my dads red 00 f150 7700 series awesome truck, it was the vehicle i used to learn to drive and used for a while. Im only 19, so my progress is sort of slow on upgrading since I am in college and with tuition going up it gets harder to upgrade fast.

First thing to upgrade were the tires
decided to buy nitto trail grapplers 35x12.5x17
New tires =)

Next thing was changed out the interior LEDs to Red

2-4 months after bought a Edge Evo and KN CAI

During the summer decided i wanted Harley style headlights, so I did the DIY mod on my OEM. and as well painted my Grilles black.

As well decided to change my Differential oil and cover. bought a Mag Hytec for $140(an awesome deal).

And this is how it looks as of now. Not much change, but im still not done.

soon to come mods

King shocks all around
4x4 tow hooks

Installed my shocks =). The ride quality is night and day difference, i used to have some pro comp shocks, but these are amazing. well worth it IMO.

I should have the front done, in 3-4 months

Why the overkill on the shocks for 2wd? Not knocking you, just curious with being in school and all. You could have got Bilstein 6" lift shocks and struts plus new Atlas or Skyjacker leaf springs for a little over a grand. You have a nice truck, however.

to be honest idk. Living in a rural community and driving about 40% on gravel/dirt roads, i thought they would be a better choice. plus our roads arnt pretty and smooth.
