Sucks what happened to your old rig. Glad you're enjoying the new-to-you Lariat! I have the Morimoto XB's with amber DRLs and they are awesome lights. Keep up the good work!
They're not the XB Hybrids right? I like the price tag of the Hybrids but not the white DTRLs. In the mean time the stock halogens and DD SS3 Pros are plenty.
Thank you!

Correct, mine are not the hybrids. I had the exact same opinion (liked the price tag but did not like the white DRL) but I got a really good deal on the XB Ambers so I went for it. Still more than the Hybrids, but it lessened the blow.

Nice. I'll have to watch out for the deals or sales!
I still need to figure out where to put my Cobra 75 WX ST CB. On my Tacoma I had a CBI ditch light bracket as an antenna mount. I had the box underneath my front cup holders which made it a pretty clean setup! Wondering if I could do the same thing again. Might see about an antenna bed mount.

Here's a mount that I've been eyeing (uses an existing bolt):
I still can't figure out a good way to mount the radio inside the truck. I don't want to drill or do anything to permanently damage my interior. I have a small Uniden Pro510XL. I have a mounting design in mind, just need to do some testing.

Well now I have torque converter shutter
At about 50 in 6th and going up a slight incline I'm getting a rumble strip type vibration. I'm pretty sure its the torque converter as I went through the EXACT same thing with my Tacoma. I had bad vibes and sure enough the converter was on its way out. Worst part was it wasn't even a year since I had it rebuilt that the Taco got totalled
It sucks but I bought the Allstate extended warranty when I got the truck which better cover it! If its covered it'll cost $100!
