It seems all of my mods are centered around "Stormy" - my New work truck, so I'll share my latest creation here.
In the White truck, I had a GPS mounted in the top corner of the windshield with a power extension plug run along the dash. The issue with that now is the tipper I will be putting her on.... the cord will always inevitably fall during the lift, which I see as an aggravating to move several times daily, So I wanted to find a better location. I focused on the dash area in the lower pic as a new home for the GPS.
Next I bought this bracket from eBay, and fabricated a mounting plate to go on the backside
I opened up the dash, removed a couple of switch blanks, and moved the Hill Start Assist switch so I could mount the new GPS bracket
Next I mounted my creation into the dash, and moved the Hill Start Assist switch one last time...lol

I'm pleased with the final result - so much so that I'm buying another mounting bracket for the other side of the vent, which I will mount my cell phone holder/charger to

Bliss swap tails
Any info would help. I have the opportunity to buy a set of 2015 Bliss tail lights and harness for $250 and my question is. I already swapped harnesses from my 2015 XLT and the LED outline on the Bliss tail lights works but the blinkers will not and neither will the brake lights so I was wandering if there’s something I can do to the Bliss harness to make it work on my truck or if I just need to buy the $100 halogen to led pigtail and just use my harness?

The main harness that runs to the tailgate runs on top of the frame rail. You can't reach it from the outside of the frame rail because the body is in the way. On the inside of the frame rail, the gas tank blocks your access.
Not to steal any thunder from @Firerunner but I'm going to try this swap myself on Saturday as long as the rain holds off. It doesn't look super difficult, just tedious.

Yet another successful weekend of modding - I now have BLIS functioning as it would from the factory.
Shout out to @Ryan B & @Livnitup for sharing their findings and making this a successful venture
This Harness, that runs the entire length of the truck had to be replaced
The fuel tank had to be lowered to get to all of the harness connections
The rear harness also had to be replaced
New taillight harness installed
Cluster showing BLIS off warning
Cluster now shows BLIS & Crosstraffic settings
Mirror correctly showing BLIS operation

If you are trying to get the BLIS to function also, then we are talking a whole different can o' worms..lol. To accomplish that you would either need to change the chassis harness also or add additional wiring to your existing harness.
Hope this helps

The tail light harness from a 2015 halogen equipped XLT will not work as is for factory LED lights, If your not concerned about the BLIS portion of the lights working, your best option is to buy a 2018 tail light harness - Part# JL3Z-13A409-G..... using this updated harness is the only truly OEM plug & play option

The problem is I already have the Bliss oem harness that was with the truck that these lights came from and it all plugged up like it was factory but the only thing that works on the lights is the led outer rings and the backup lights, the brake and blinker lights do not work and that’s where I’m stuck at. Do you know of anything I may be doing wrong?
You may have already looked through this thread, but if not it holds a lot of good info on adding the LED lights to halogen trucks - https://www.f150forum.com/f118/how-s...lights-318189/
