Replacement boots were longer. And I ****ing hope it’s not a compression issue. Just got home from moving out of my primary home into my old lady’s place. Parts were here from Fairway.

Installed the new plugs. Coil packs looked different than the stock OEM, but are the correct part number according to Fairway, Tasca, FordPartsGiant, and RockAuto lookup.

Both RockAuto and FordPartsGiant show that this part is a replacement for JT4Z-12029-A. The part number shown on the original packs is JT4E-12A366-AA. Not sure how this correlates to the other part numbers.

Long story short, no change. Getting the same crank and no start.

I don’t think it would matter, but I did take the opportunity to upgrade to an H8 battery. I updated the truck with Forscan to the proper code for an H8, but it shows an error when I look at the BCM in easy mode. Not sure why. I can’t believe that would cause an issue though. I did also reset the BMS with Forscan. I know, I know. I shouldn’t have added another variable. I’m just a glutton for punishment I guess.

Anyways. No change and I am just defeated. Not sure what else to do and I don’t even have the time really if I had any idea.

You need to check for spark, it's not likely compression missing on all cylinders, that was just a technical answer.

You're smelling/seeing fuel so it shouldn't be a case of security, otherwise the injectors would be off. Did you check for power from the connector to the spark plugs? (not the connector to the top of the COP)

Look up how to test/check for spark by using the engine/ground on the side of the plug with the plug sticking out of the COP.

I have not. I guess I will have to learn how to do that.

You can use a basic voltage presence tester and this video as reference, if you don't have a tester, here's a cheap one you can get, 10 bucks.

Amazon Amazon

I will look into that. Although all 6 coil packs are brand new. I called Fairway and confirmed that I have the correct ones this time. I can’t believe that all 6 coil packs are bad as well as the 6 brand new spark plugs.

So did some more digging on the truck this weekend whenever I had a chance. I think I have figured out there is no spark because I don't have any power. I also found that I have no power on fuse 35, 36, 37, and 38. All of these get daisy chained power from the PCM Relay. I have a new relay coming, but I fear the problem is deeper because I can't find any continuity between the relay and fuse sockets. I fear, I am going to need a new fuse box.
