Default 02 4x4 build

Got my F150 over a year ago and it was gonna be my DD through college. But I've decided to get a car for better gas mileage and turn my truck into a toy. I already have keys and blocks on it with 33's but I've decided bigger is better. So the first thing up is a BDS 6 inch lift. I'll decide on tire size after the lift goes on. May do a few more things this winter it just depends on how much time I have.

Started to pull the truck apart a little bit. Got the back bumper and hitch pulled off. Gonna pull off the bed tomorrow hopefully. Progress is gonna be slow with only being able to work on it during the weekend

Got the front part all torn apart. It's gotta sit on jack stands for the night. There was a mixup when I ordered the lift and somehow got an add a leaf instead of new leaf springs. So it might be awhile before I get the back part started

Not a pure mud rig. It will see offroad but I just mean it won't be a daily driver anymore. If I was going mud rig I would get something with a solid axle up front

Got the front all done. Those tires are 33s so I'll be hoping to find some used 35s or 37s soon. Trucks is much higher then before

Got the new leaf springs for the lift on. Cleaned the frame up some and sprayed on some rust reformer. Going to use some gloss over that to make it look a little bit better.

Going to bed liner the bottom of the body and bumpers soon hopefully. I also have some bucket seats I need to get reupholstered. I'll have to build my own mounting bracket but that's most of the fun. I have a long list of stuff I want to do, I just don't know when I can get to it all.
