I have thought this as well. I think parcel carriers are using that excuse too.

I've had a similar case as I am still waiting after a month for my 5100 front and rears. I ordered when the site said they got 5 in stock. I was charged two days later but no tracking number. I emailed them and a couple days later was told they were on backorder, sorry we didn't get your order in time. Ok no big deal, but I was charged already. I usually am never charged by a company unless my order is being packed up to ship. Its been a month now and nothing, I check the site and it jumps from 0 in stock, to 7 in stock to 5, then 0 then 8, but I don't have mine. I've asked twice since and no response from stage3 at all. I'm good if they just tell me where I am on the waiting list or something, but I am wondering where my money is when they have yet to ship anything at all

That's poor customer service IMO. And I think more problems arise from drop shipping because there's more hands involved. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. But they should at least get back to you and give you an idea of what's going on, and if possible, offer a solution.

After they charged me and I contacted the first time, they offered my money back or I wait. It had only been a week so I figured I would wait not a big deal after all I was already charged and only a couple days later they showed more in stock so I thought for sure mine would be sent...now three weeks later and nothing and I can't get an email back or even an update explaining. I dont think its too much to ask for

Surprised to hear that from the OP concerning S3 Motorsports. I've had nothing but excellent service and customer support from them. Just yesterday I received an email from them stating that the Morimoto XB sequential smoked mirror lights that I ordered a few days ago are back ordered until late May.
They were emailing me to find out if I was willing to wait or if I wish to cancel my order. Always good communication and fast shipping as far as I'm concerned.

Has this same issue with stage 3 regarding wheels and tires. Ordered 295 55 20 trail grapplers and fuel wheels. Tires show up, 305 55 20 BFG ko2 ‘s and no wheels

Finally got ahold of customer service and was told wheels are on back order, then mysteriously that same day was told now they are in stock.

it was a total mess, but it was fixed in the end. I was able to physically talk to someone though.

Dude, I've been saying this for nine months....Business's in general are using covid as a reason to half *** everything. I'm not necessarily saying thats whats happening here but...

Don't feel like doing something...sorry yeah can't do that...covid

Everything I’ve ordered in the past year has been a mess....all the shipping places have been slow, nothing comes when it should, and everything is delayed...from almost every store I’ve ordered from.

not really sure what they can do...once it leaves it’s in the control of the shipper for X amount of days before anyone can do anything...if they send you more stuff, then they might get hosed.

sounds like UPS has really gone down hill.

Honestly, I'm also surprised. Like I said, I've spent a ton of money with them and never had any issues. This time it's been a mess.
