Default Odometer LCD light fix

Thanks for the feedback on fixing this light. I will let you know how I made out. Can't wait to fix it as the problem is very annoying.

just did mine. quick and easy, 30 minutes and $2.95 in parts. bought 2 bulbs just to have a backup.

Thanks Blackbetty. Fixed my odometer light this afternoon and it now works great. A little disappointed in my Ford Dealership though telling me the whole instrument cluster would need replaced to fix this problem.

Beware out there, there are still people that will take you across, if you don't ask questions.

This forum was invaluable in resolving my problem. Thanks again.

Yeah replaced my bulb yesterday no problem. Be careful not not to scratch your plastic cover to your steering column.

I replaced mine today and now my odo is perfectly illuminated. Nice!!!

Just ordered the right bulbs all set for next wknd. Thanks for the info, the light being out has drivin me nuts for a year now. I was under the impression it was a faulty circuit. So I have my fingers crossed.

Thank you blackbetty, I've put up with that light out for three years because the dealer told me it was a bad circuit. In 20min with your perfect instructions she's lit up again, such a good feeling. Thanks a million.
