As I passed him he had slowed to 40, and was continuing to slow. When he pulled up tiara the gas station he was going 5 to 10s.

But thanks for trying to make me look like a liar. This kind of jerk behavior is why I took a couple months off in the first place.

If you see a guy driving erratically who appears to be in distress, you can do either of the following:

1. Talk to him to find out what's going on.
2. Offer assistance (advice, a phone, a ride).

Or...

1. Assume the engine failed because its an ecoboost.
2. Run home to post about it on the Internet.
3. Pity the poor ecoboost owner.
4. Relish in the glory of the 5.0.

Again, two cars of family with me, so, no, not stopping on the side of a two lane highway unless it's a wreck, and someone might need immediate help. He was still rolling anyway,.how exactly do you offer help to someone that's moving slower than traffic? Once he's at the gas station, I'm sure he could call a tow, and like everyone else in our country, had his own cell phone. Again, I'm not leaving my truck running, even with my dog in it, to go ask someone what's wrong with their truck.

Anyway, the symptoms from behind sure liked just like the CAC problem of the Ecoboost. Out was certainly an Ecoboost, and I haven't heard of other problems, but it is possible that the engine failed for some other reason. I put the symptoms together, and it fit. What other Ecoboost issuecould it have been.

I don't pity him, just glad he was safe. No where did I say, "Boy, glad I have my 5.0."

You're really stretching the truth of the story and trying to put words in my mouth I didn't say.

If you have some other ideas why that happened, feel free to share, but otherwise, the single most likely problem that guy had was the CAC issue. Any other ideas?

True, because all you ever type are one liner cut downs. You wouldn't even begin to know how to debate a point. All the guy you're agreeing with is really just trying to get even with me from goding him on in another thread. Normally be Mime puts together logical points instead of just trying to make it seen that I said that I never did...
