Pretty much the answer I was hoping not to get, but an answer that has changed my mind! Looks like it's time to order a heartthrob unless someone else has some miracle answer for me.

has anyone just deleted the muffler to see how it sounded just going through the cat then resonator?

Someone who wants loud should put an electric cutout in front of the resonator. I'm a fan of the sound a pipe makes when run to the back of the truck rather than the resonation and hum when the pipe is turned down.

The resonator plays a big part in quieting the turbos, ditch it. Fast lane is building a highflow cat setup, paired with the heartthrob it may sound pretty good.

Can't you just clear the codes when returning it to stock? Or has that changed...

The ls1 guys have been ditching cats for years. O2 sims keep the bright lights away. I'd love to see an off road y pipe too.

This is not true with a good programmer. You can delete these things and show no record.
