Did you change gas stations, maybe it is just winter gas kicking in.

So can anyone that's been keeping up with this thread tell me what's the best plugs to use ?? And am I right about wanting to go with a .030 gap as I am running a 93 SCT canned performance tune... My truck absolutely ideals like crap ... Really rough especially on the passengers side.

Motorcraft SP-534 plugs gapped at .028-.030 or Brisk Silver Racing Plugs gapped at .025-.028.

I would go with the Brisk for that. Reports of eliminating bucking, etc at WOT are common with those.

Ok, I don't have any issues "right now" with wot or the shuddering crap... Just the rough *** idle ... I'll be interested to see what my current plugs are gapped at. I'm still trying to deal with ford and get them to do something about it since the truck is still under warranty till Aug of next year or another 12,000 miles ....

They won't do plugs on warranty. Almost all the 2011 and many of the 2012 had incorrect spark gap. What is better running and peace of mind worth to you?
My plugs were shot at 40K. I couldn't tell from normal driving, but towing uphill was awful. They were gapped at .038-.040.

I'm dealing with customer service and working my way up to the top on this issue. I really think it's crap that we spend 40+ thousand on a truck and for isn't will to do whatever they have to do to make it run like a 40+thousand dollar truck. I'm willing to buy it and it but it's about principle now .. Ya know ??... We shouldn't have to deal with this .. Ford should release a TSB to change the gaps on all trucks that have issues and just be done with it. Would be a lot easier for them to do that then to keep paying the mechanic to look at my truck when I bring it in and they give me a rental. I'm taking one for the team and pushing the matter up to the top if I have too .... ;-)
