Nope. It's just fish oil.

No it's not.
WD-40 is a solvent with very little lubrication in it. It gets sticky, dry, and non lubricated after drying. It is an excellent rust discover, cleaner, rust prevention, water displacement. Oil is not a large ingredient in WD-40. It performs poorly as a lubricant compared to true penatrating oils. Excellent water displacement qualities so great on electrical connections. It may soften rubber over time so wipe off excess after your done.
51% Stoddard solvent
25% liquid petroleum gas or CO2 as propellant
15% light mineral oil
10% inert ingredients

Stock tune, I could accelerate hard at any speed and it would drop how ever many gears and pull.

Interesting - I loaded the canned SCT 87. When I accelerated hard any speed under 45, the truck pulled hard. Anything over that with hard acceleration caused a shudder when the truck dropped 2 gears. Surprised me. I could repeat that every time.

So, I gapped the plugs to .032 (the .035 feeler slipped in without trouble but did not look at each accurately), rinsed and repeated the accel tests. Now from 55 to what ever speed, after dropping 2 gears, the truck just pulls - although I seem to notice just a hint of shudder.

So, 2 things remain - somewhat rough idle and still a hint of a shudder.

I am considering a custom tune and am thinking of the new FoMoCo plugs gapped at .030 next oil & filter change. That will be 23K on my '11.

The job was fairly easy. A better magnet would have helped. One issue I had was with the driver side center coil. When pulling it out, the plastic ring hit whatever that metal thing is an broke off a small part. I glued it back into place.

I thought I read with a tuner you could adjust your idle while in drive and while in park, 2 settings, short of your tuner being a basic model?

Mine in park it idles fine ~600 rpm, but in drive with the brake on at a stop light/sign it doesn't idle as nice ~500 rpm. I looked at it once on the torque app, but I don't recall the numbers. Many times while at stop lights/signs I'll shift into neutral and it'll idle smoother, back up to ~600 rpm.

For me though the gap change made it much smoother. Yet debating on a tuner though.

I see those options on my SCT tuner...

What's the point in going with a smaller gap? I always heard the bigger the gap the more power and fuel economy.

If you're running high boost you can get spark blowout with a wide gap, so run a narrower gap and get spark or wide gap and get misfires. I haven't always found the above to be true, especially the fuel economy part.

I have had this shudder for a while at start up and rough idle. It never occurred to me that it might be the plug gap. Going to fix this today.
