Default Train Horns?

Okay I'm new to the whole train horn scene. Does anyone have any experience with them? And I've got around 500 to spend, and i keep hearing hornblasters shocker kit but i got a really good deal on a Kleinn hk6 kit. Whats the best horn in my price range? Thanks for any help!

Useless noise. Dead heads behind the wheel will lose all sense of reality if you blow those things at them.

Some of them are armed!

Some live near and are armed and have a short fuse. (hint)

It's a good thing I'm armed too

And don't worry, they will only be blown at smart cars and priuses

Well we know for damn sure they aren't armed. Neither are the Subaru drivers (except this one)

*Actually I traded that in for my truck.

I'd have to throw my vote out to the hornblasters shocker kit. Sounds the best in my opinion and was much louder than my buddy's generic train horn kit.

I just got a used set of the kleinn hk6, I paid alittle less than the 480 but I love them so far. They sound pretty good and work great so far. Only thing I wasnt happy with was the horns were too big to mount under my tool box. Heres a little clip of them.

So you're happy with the hk6? You know if it's as loud as a shocker kit?

I'm happy with it yes. Loudness i don't know, but check the decibels on the shocker kit. My hk6 is 151.7 decibels at 150psi

I wouldn't do it. The hearing loss possible with these things is dangerous. But some people think it's funny when people jump and startle, amirite?
