Default Best Bug Deflector?

I’m looking at installing a good bug deflector on my 18 Lariat. Which seems to hold up best with least damage to the hood? AVS or Weathertech? Or is there a better option?

I have the Ford branded Aeroskin on my SD. I like it because it fits solid against the hood.

In my experience, none of them actually deflect bugs. However, they do prevent rock chips in your hood.

Paint protection film is what I have had on all my vehicles. No ugly deflector to deal with.

I like the way that my AVS Aeroskin II fits flat against the hood. If I ever want to remove it, I can just use a heat gun and some Goo Gone.

I second the Aeroskin II, looks great and does deflect bugs with the lip on the back of the middle hood section.

I installed the Aeroskin II on my 2016 Lariat worked great around town, but. Really liked this bug guards look, but I drive across the state of PA a few times a month when reaching 68 mph+ this shield caused a shudder on the backside of my hood. Wipers shudder too along with poor washer performance. Nice guard quality but did not work for me at highway speeds.

Here it is on my truck.

they also trap all sorts of debris/water and will make the hood look like absolute crap once removed.

I have a AVS aeroskin on my truck from 2014 till present day. I'm at highway speeds all the time and it hasn't moved or shuttered at all. It's says put and stable.
