Default Shelby raptor

What do y'all think of the new Shelby raptor, supercharged 6.2l sounds sweet, I still think I'd rather have the velociraptor tho!

I love the Shelby Raptor!! I want one!!
Apparently there has been MANY issues with the Velociraptor! Lots of fires!
Why do you prefer the Velociraptor over the Shelby?

I could see fires happening for sure with all that power under the hood. I haven't looked over the Shelby too much but the guys down at Hennessy do great work and add a few features I would want like the exhaust dump switch, twin turbo upgrade and so much more. At the end of the day I would take either truck

hennessy has some horror stories if you look around. shelby is the all american, ford for decades tuning company. if you go with hennessy over shelby, you are a terrorist and you hate america.

lol can't argue with that, regardless I'm still buying a ford truck, have a Shelby mustang already, sure would look sweet with 2 in the driveway, hennesssey has being moding a lot of street cars like the venom gt which I would like to have in my arsenal as well, they definitely know what their doing, have you guys seen the raptor SUV? Damn, might have to go visit John in the future.

I would rather buy a chevy than buy anything with John Hennessy's name on it. I used to be a fan of his work as he has made some amazing cars, BUT there are many horror stories all over the internet where he has screwed several customers by doing shoddy work and having very bad business practices. One build in particular was he was supposed to do a complete build on a Viper for a customer, 2 years later the car is not just unfinished, but was sitting in a dirt lot behind his shop with several parts missing that had been pulled and used on other customers projects and the original customer never got his car back. He took Hennessy to court and had to sue for damages.

After word got out on a big forum, John himself went on there and tried to defend himself by taunting and name calling the very people who paid him several thousand dollars for work that was never done. What a grade-A douche. He denied any wrong doing, but a judge(s) did not agree. As he was sued several times.

I'm a little impartial to Shelby, but a Roush Raptor is sweet!

Shelby>Roush>Ford>Chevy>getting kicked in the nuts>stepping in dog crap>paying taxes>anything that comes from Hennessy's shop

I would beg to differ on the others options, a Shelby Raptor will retain its resale value better than those mentioned. Might even go up.

Interesting. Hennessey has a bad rep with Many Viper and corvette people.
