Shelby raptor

Meh.
As stated by Jamal Hameedi, the purpose of the Raptor (aside from boosting F150 sales) was to provide an affordable, entry-level vehicle that could compete in many of the sanctioned off road racing events. This point was driven home by the Raptor that with nothing more than bolt-in King shocks and a cage won its class in the Paris to Dakar Rally.
As with Hennessey, the Shelby Raptor solves a problem that doesn't exist. Not only that, you have a Raptor that can't compete in any sanctioned race because F/I v8s don't have an approved class.
The stock power levels are more than enough to run 100mph off road, blow out the shocks, bend the frame and kill the occupants.
I would have preferred that Shelby released a package with a N/A v8 @ 600hp and the suspension upgrades to support it - but then it might be called a Stroppe Raptor instead of a Shelby Raptor...

I would rather buy a chevy than buy anything with John Hennessy's name on it. I used to be a fan of his work as he has made some amazing cars, BUT there are many horror stories all over the internet where he has screwed several customers by doing shoddy work and having very bad business practices. One build in particular was he was supposed to do a complete build on a Viper for a customer, 2 years later the car is not just unfinished, but was sitting in a dirt lot behind his shop with several parts missing that had been pulled and used on other customers projects and the original customer never got his car back. He took Hennessy to court and had to sue for damages.
After word got out on a big forum, John himself went on there and tried to defend himself by taunting and name calling the very people who paid him several thousand dollars for work that was never done. What a grade-A douche. He denied any wrong doing, but a judge(s) did not agree. As he was sued several times.
I'm a little impartial to Shelby, but a Roush Raptor is sweet!
Shelby>Roush>Ford>Chevy>getting kicked in the nuts>stepping in dog crap>paying taxes>anything that comes from Hennessy's shop

Shelby never missed an opportunity to put his name on something, that's for sure.
I lost count of how many places the Shelby name was plastered on that truck. Meh…pass. lol

.... but what about the shelby dodge omi glh? That was pure badass hahahaha
Honestly the shelby raptor should come with a 427 side oiler or socc, something that isnt so easy as a supercharger and upgraded shocks.
Nothing compares to the stewart raceworks rappys in my mind.
