Default Getting real fed up with this...

Replaced --> air filter, fuel filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Did radiator flush and oil change.

Truck was running fine, just decided it wouldn't hurt to do any of this.

It was running like crap after doing the tune up, today I put in some NGK plugs, rather then the autolites. Was running better...

Started running like **** after about 20 mins of driving, Loss of power.

Popped the hood, Smelled like burning oil.. All my fluids are topped.

Looked under the truck, saw oil dripping. Not sure where its leaking though or why.

Really don't know what to ask, Just really tired of working on a truck that had no problems, until I tried replacing a few parts here an there. And now its running like ****.. And leaking oil..

Any ideas?

thanks everyone.

check and make sure the plugs wires are on the right spot, and chack and make sure the oil drain plug is seated right.

I would double check make sure you didn't cross a couple plug wires.

Locate your oil leak, if filter is screwed on cross threaded it will leak like plastic bag of grapes. If you smelled the bad smell, not so good if the pan is low on the stick.

When you replaced your oil filter did you make sure the rubber gasket from the old filter was still on the old filter and not on your truck. I did this and the gasket from the old oil filter stayed on the truck and when I put the new oil filter on it leaked oil. Simple mistake, easy fix.

What engine are we talking about here. I wouldn't put anything but motocraft plugs in a ford.

I'm guessing a 5.0 or 5.8 Windsor since he mentioned a distributor cap and rotor.

If there is oil burning check the oil filter for leaks, remove and Get a new oil filter if it's leaking!! They are cheap ...
Make sure the gasket comes off and oil the seal on your new filter before you spin it on....
Recheck all of your plugs!!, you got NGKs so your gap could off or they may just be a little loose....
Recheck and route all your wires so they are not laying over each other.... (cheap wires will arch when laid over each other...)
if everything checks out fine upon inspection, then clean your IAC and your throttle body...

Doh! ... skipped over the dist comment :/

Yeah double triple check your firing order. If you sprayed the engine down check the inside of the dist for water.
