Default 505 code

2006 Supercrew XLT. 4.6 liter. Replaced fuel pump several months back and now get check engine light and the code is 505. Is this something that needs to go to a dealer or can a good independent shop with good diagnostic equipment track this problem down. Start is sluggish and initial acceleration stutters a little and then after that it runs fine.

P1505 code is the closest I would guess at. It's an IAC fault, and it is IAC error at adaptive clip

my reader is a cheapo from AutoZone and it doesnt show a 1505 so that makes sense-the idle is I assume part of the problem-at least anything low speed. On the road it runs great and mileage hasn't changed. I have had some 300 codes which I assume are related to this start and idle issue. Any thoughts you have would be appreciated. Plugs were changed a few months ago and i couldn't tell any difference. Truck has 116,000 miles.

post up the codes, my link gives you the engine codes, I'd just add the 1 to the front and see what you get.
