Default 5.4 problem

So my local Ford dealer has had my truck for over a week. And they have yet to narrow down the problem. They say it is not the Cam Phasers or anything having to do with the engine. Now they think it may be the transmission.
Anyone ever hear knocking/ticking sounds from their Transmission?
It only makes the noise when I drive for about a half hour. Thats how long it takes to get home from work. And only does it when I am backing up my Driveway. I have never noticed it anyway going forward.
Here is a video of the sound. You can really hear it towards the end of the video.
Any ideas??

Yea Ford has no idea. They called me and said the trans tech says it's the motor and the engine tech says it's the trans. So they are pulling the transmission out and will inspect it. Only does it in reverse once it is has been driven for about 30 min.

PM me who you are dealing with. I have a good friend that turns wrenches on Fords and is of quality character. He will give 110% to help you isolate the problem. It may take time if this is intermittent as all problems of this type are, but be assured he will give his best effort. Yes I live in Cincy as well. PS Sorry my Hoosiers beat OSU last Saturday.

Go with pulling the trans, the torque convertor/flex plate area is the most suspect. If a piece was broken in the trans you would get more grabbing or slipping. Torque convertor may need replacement due to damage from broken/cracked mounting plate. If you have tons of miles on the trans it would be wise to rebuild it now also. When the troque convertor begins to wobble usually the pump gets some damage and the seal will begin to drip fluid. Sooner or later it will break completely free or pour down a lot of fluid. It's really going to cost a ton to fix it probably anyway. If you can aford a trade a 11 ta 12?

To me if it was something ''internal'' in the engine it would do it going forward also...

It ended up being the cam phasers.
They replaced countless parts. In the beginning they said it wasn't cam phasers since Ford had fixed the problem.
They had my truck for 40 days.....
