Default Rough Ride

I bought my 06 Screw a few weeks ago, already lowered and on 22's.
Im trying to figure out how it was lowered and whats causing the rough ride.

In looking at it I see it was definitely lowered in the rear with shackles and after removing the bumpstops (New stops are on their way) the ride in the back improved significantly but the front is still pretty rough.

Any good way to tell how it was lowered in the front and any tips on improving the ride? I "think" it was done using springs and they look silver like the belltechs but it also looks like the PO tried to paint them or something so who knows. What I do know is the top of the spindle is very tall and the upper arm has a steep upward angle and only about 4'' or so of clearance between the top of the arm and the fenderwell.

Sorry for the novel guys but I appreciate the help! Heres a pic..

lack of uptravel, probably riding on or close to the bumpstops up front just like the rear was.

drop spindles with stock coils would be the way to do it to keep factory ride, if someone makes em.

If it's more than a 3" drop it had to be springs and upper A-arms. It's going to be rough regardless but the shocks may be bottoming out if they weren't changed out for lowered ones. Alignment/bump stop/tire balancing could be a culprit. I know it doesn't help but that's the danger in buying a already lowered vehicle; can't always tell the way it was lowered. If I was you, I would pull everything off and install a good kit installed by a professional installer.

Haha yea im sure the 22's aren't helping! and I've had lowered trucks before so I don't expect it to ride like a caddy but I'm pretty sure it can be improved.
I'll snap some pics tonight and post em up.

Those are stock A-Arms.. The springs look stock too but not sure... can not see the spindles... that might be what was done.
