I read a post by Tony about 1" lift shackles. Can anyone tell me if they can be used in conjunction with the 4" flip to equal a 3" rear drop?
I would assume A 4 inch flip is a 5 inch kit with 1 inch lift shackles I could be wrong

With a flip if you use lift blocks it will sit lower. I would say just go with a 3/5 I'm at a 4/7 and it rides fine with no notch hardly ever bottom out

I just found this on DJM's site: The rear drop starts with a flip kit, which drops about 6”. Next, add one of two lifting parts for the desired rear height. A 1” rear shackle can be used for a 5” drop or a 2” lifting hanger can be used for a 4” drop (both sold separately).

to get a 3" rear drop, I am thinking i would need the rear flip kit with a 3" lifting shackle, right?

you would need both the lift shackle and the lift hanger supplied by djm

you have a 6" drop unless you have a 1" drop shackle with your flip...

correct the djm flip kit without the shakle or hanger kit is a 6 inch drop

the 5 inch flip kit is the actual flip kit and 1 inch lifting shackle

the 4 inch flip kit is the actaul flip kit and front 2 inch lifting hangers

honestly before you spend the money id do the 4 inch kit with rear djm shocks and then if needed get the lifting shackle.

If you do the djm 2/4 kit the front will come down 2.25-2.5 inches from stock so you might be ok in the rear at 4.
