I can't recall ever scraping in my truck with a 3/5 drop. If I have, it's only been once.

Unless you have some really bad roads, 3/5 is nothing to worry about. Going lower than that is usually when potential scraping occurs.

So I'd say to go for it!

That's fantastic!!!!! That's what I wanted to hear!!! now would you think that it won't scrap even with my running boards on. I know I'm not going to need them but I really Like the look it has with them on.

You didn't say if your 2wd or 4wd. 4wd will scrap often with the 3/5 kit. The transfer case skid plate hangs real low. Mine scrapes thru driveways even if I angle it real crazy. I've been driving bagged and body dropped vehicles for years so for me it's all good.

Just did the 3.5/5.5 Belltech. As long as you dont put low pro's on Stock 18" your fine. I put 40's on my 18's so the drop from just tires alone was 5.5" PLUS the 3.5/5.5 from kit. I have 1.5" clearance from Cross Member. Going to get 20" Rims & Tires next.

My cousins running a 3.5/5.5 with his boards on with 285/35/22". So if you run a Stock tire sidewall on a 18" rim you'll be fine for normal

Yeah it's nuts, but only because these 09'+ trucks have ridiculous wheel well gap to begin with. Thats the only thing that bothers me because I dont like or want rims over a 20" or a stock profile tire. Guess I'll go up to 20's and use like a 50 profile. Ive been watchin ebay.
Heres his truck dropped with 18" stockies.
