Default Zip tie mod causing problems?

I found this mod a few days go and went ahead and did it. I only put one on but when I set the cruise to go 75 down the highway it feels like Im going quite a bit faster. Could this happen?

No your speed sensor on your rear diff. Is what runs your odometer. The zip tie mod just takes the slack out of your throttle cable=better response. BEWARE I did it to mine and went through 3 throttle positioning sensors before I removed it.

Not real familiar with the signs of a bad TPS. Any help on that?

With mine I would be going down the main road at 35 and the rpms would jump up and down then when I would be in a higher gear than 1st (because you cant go to a lower gear from there) and gun it it wouldn't down shift just SLOWLY speed up.

To the people saying you went threw tps sensors , there's no reason you went threw sensors , must of taken out too much slack, of you do it right it's the same thing as putting a brand new cable on, there'd be no slack

I did it a while ago an actually had a tb stick. I dont recommend doing it. I recommend from a safety stand point of just replacing the cable. I looked a few weeks ago because mine has begun to stretch again and its like $30 for a OE Motorcraft cable from rockauto.
