Default Would misalignment cause breaks to rub

My front brakes are rubbing while driving normally and letting out a pretty loud screech, I just got new pads about 3 months ago, and this just started in the past 2 days. Does my front end just need alignment or could something else be the cause?

no man. take your pads off and make sure where you put the small aluminum pieces on the rails where the pads slide that there isnt any rust underneath them. make sure the pads can slide on and off easily. i just had the same problem with my rear calipers. i put all new calipers, rotors and pads all the way around and my passenger rear was stuck for like 3 weeks after. thought it was the rear brake hose. $50 bucks later i found out it wasnt the hose...

Lol yea but its simple to do yourself. If it ain't the pads the. The caliper is hung up. You'll have to open the bleeder and see if you can get the pistons to fall back in.

I agree with pity, it's a simple fix but if you paid money for them to do it, take it back to them so they can do it right.

You could always ask for a little bit of your money back as well.

Make sure they check your wheel bearings. If its not the brake pad shims, worped rotors or a bad caliper that is sticking, It is most likely a wheel bearing.
