Get a chilton repair manual. It will tell you how to do it step by step. They are like 22 dollars

once you purchase a new bearing it should be pretty easy seeing that it
only held in by three bolts in the back and a large axle nut. Took my son 13
minutes to get it off and 10 minutes to put it back on my 97. Yours will have ABS plug might take a little longer. But should be an easy job. Go 4 it

jack the truck up. put it on jackstands.

take the wheel off.

take the 2 brake caliper BRACKET bolts off... not the brake caliper bolts...

take the caliper bracket off... (caliper bracket, caliper, and brake pads come off as one piece this way)

hang your caliper up with some bailin wire or just let it hang...

take the rotor off...

take the axle nut loose...

hit the end of the axle with the nut still on so the axle loosens up inside the hub.

take the axle nut off turn the steering knuckle in a direction you can see behind it.

take the 3 hub bolts off...

un plug your abs sensor and take the hub out. when taking the hub out it might take a bit of manliness to take it out if its rusted in... or a hub puller, or a hammer and a chisel or screwdriver to kinda pry it loose.

then putting it in is just about the same as taking it out. besure to torque the 3 hub bolts when you tighten them.

good luck

michael

If you have a die grinder and you have a pad to remove rust, clean up the surface before you put the new bearing on.

Use thread lock when you put the three bolts back in for the wheel bearing.
