Like the title says. What is this part? It goes by the blower motor. I will look the part number up. no results on tasca for the part number. The truck has the electronic climate control if that makes a difference

The conclusion I came to is that it is the A/C sensor.

If the part in your hand is open I would bet it part of the re-circulation (air return) system

Okay cool. So it is to feed the interior air filter? ( don't have that option / have not done the mod for it )

It's part of your air duct. It looks like its broken off of a bigger part. The edge looks rough. Can you see any place it might have come from?

it is supposed to be a round tube and someone broke it in half basically. We got a replacement out of a wrecked truck.
