Default Weird Issue, Neep help ASAP

So MY cruise control quit working and i took it into the local dealer, as i had a free diagnostic, and they told me they pulled out the Vehicle Speed Sensor in the T-case, and reset it, and my cruise started working again. Well it just recently quit working again. What did they do to reset it? i pulled it out and unplugged it, plugged back in and disconnected battery and it didnt fix it...i am headed to NM next week and it sure would be nice to have my cruise back.

I would check the fuses it could just be a blown fuse because mine quit once and I replaced a fuse and its worked ever since

When your cruise goes, does your horn go? If so then there is too much amperage going through that fuse and it's flipping the breaker but not blowing the fuse (yes there are breakers on these things).

They reset every time the ignition is cycled. I discovered them when I was having issues with my cruise and horn and saw that the relays and fuses were good. Took it to ford and they said my horn was drawing enough of a load to not pop the fuse but flip the breaker.

I'm not sending this from my iPhone while driving.

Time for a new speed sensor....remove and replace it. A cruise control issue is not an ASAP problem...lol
