Default Used engine, what to replace before install

Just picked up a strong running 5.4 2V from a wrecked f250. All cylinders tested at 165-170 compression, currently no leaks or issues.

My question is, what parts/gaskets/seals would you replace before swapping it into the truck?

Pan, valve covers, Rear main seal. You'll need new intake manifold gaskets anyways.

I would pull the timing chain cover also since you have the motor out and valve cover off. That way you can check the timing chain guides to see if they are OK.

Good call, never would have thought to change this sensor. Are they known to fail after time?

Should I take advantage of the engine being out of the truck and install cams? Note: I have no experience installing or degreeing cams...
