Default Upgrade suggestions?

I bought a 2003 F-150 Heritage addition with 4X4. The truck has factory 2 inch lift blocks on the rear axel. Currently, the tires are 31.6 inches in diameter (265/70/R17's all seasons). The front end is only about one inch lower than the back end. So I plan to crank the factory torsions to give it another inch lift in the front to level it and then throw on 33 inch all terrain tires on the 17 inch rims you see in the photo. Do you think that will make the truck look much nicer and worth the cost of the tires?

Any other suggestions in what i can do to this truck to make it look a little more aggressive/better, short of spending thousands on a huge lift kit and huge tires? I looked at photos of other peoples' trucks like mine that have been modded and nothing jumped out at me (maybe a front grill guard?).

Thanks

Leave tbars alone
Put on lt2857017 or lt2957017 tires.

Having front of truck look like it just bounced out of pothole don't make it look better. Makes it look dumb.

I agree. Leave the front height as is. You’re going to look really nose high if you mess with it.

It already looks level, if not slightly higher in the front.

If those are 265's, it looks a little higher than the factory ride height as it sits. Unless those tires a extremely wore out lol. Yea, looks high, sits very nice IF it is factory.

Thanks - do you think the 295/70/17's will fit with no trimming on the truck?

do you think the aluminum alloy tire rims look ok or would the truck look much better with chrome or black? also thinking of pointing a bull bar on the front nose. thoughts on how that would look?

I'd suggest 285/70-17's. They are typically more common and easier to find if you have to replace one in an emergency.

Those wheels are probably my favorite stock wheel for the 10th gens. I wouldn't swap them out. As for bull bars, I'm not a real fan.

With regard to front-end height: Make sure the truck is setting on a level surface, then measure from the center of the wheel hub to the edge of the fender lip at each corner. That will tell you if you need any more (or less) height in the front to get to level. And don't worry if you have a little difference side to side in the rear. Many trucks are like that.

Appearance mods? I'd consider taking off the door moulding, and going with black step bars instead of the chrome. I'd say paint-to-match the headlight surround, but with the two-tone, I guess you can't! Window tint would also look good if it's legal where you live.

I agree with 'OHIO' , truck looks nice the way it is. New tires for rough service would be a plus and going up to 285's sounds like a way to go.

When I get ready to do tires, I will go 285's on stock rims and that is w/o a lift.
