I would not recommend doing a differential flush. The differential is filled with synthetic 75W-140 oil and a friction modifier. You do not need to change it unless you get water in it. There is generally nothing happening in the differential to cause the oil to get dirty and fail so you don't need to change it. If you do change it (which is not necessary) make sure you add the friction modifier or your differential will fail on you within a few years or less.

I personally use a suction pump. I think it's easier and doesn't require you remove the cover. You just fish the flex line into the bottom and suck out as much fluid as you can. It'll get most out. Then just fill it back up through the same hole and you're good.

Unless you have water in the differential or think there is a problem in there I wouldn't take the plate off.

x2 use a small flex hose probably 3/8 to get around the gears.

Diff oil should be changed periodically in these trucks. Particularly with limited slip where clutch material contaminates the oil, you may experience chatter around turns. Good practice to service the diff before these symptoms occur.

I'm not disputing this. all I was saying is I think its' easier to suck the fluid out than take the cover off.
