Most likely it is your Idle Air Control motor.. (IAC) it is located near your throttle body, on the drivers side of the 4.6 and 5.4's. They are silver, round and about 6" long with a wiring connector plugged into it.

If you take it off and spray a few good sprays of throttle body or carb cleaner in the end that attaches to the intake will sometimes clean it up. If not, you can pick on up at most auto parts stores for around 45-50 bucks.

I'm not near my truck at the moment.. go to like advanceautoparts.com and type in your info and look it up. There should be a picture of it there so you will have an idea what to look for.

Sweet thanks I had looked for a picture of where it was on google found it was just starting to remove bolts when I relized it has a gasket so I stopped then re tightened everything up and sprayed the connections with electrical cleaner I don't have a gasket to take the iac off then replace the old gasket when I put it back together and since it's my daily driver mainly I need it so when i get some money for a new gasket then I'll take it off and clean it good. Do you have any advice for when I do take it off and clean it? Like things to be careful of etc.

Any good throttlebody cleaner should work.. Just flip it over after you get it off and give it a cpl good soakin's. Some people say to pull the little round cap off on top of it and spray some in there as well. But, I never have. Depending on the shape its in, you should be able to reuse that gasket.
