Default Tires?

i have a 1997 F150 4x4, im looking for anyone who has experience and knowlege of what kind of tires would be the most aggressive, good looking, yet durable and long lasting on the road? im lookin to get some new 33x12.50R16 or 17's on DC-1 Blacks. i want them to look and perform great on and off road. im runnin 285/70R17 BFG ATZ's now but i want somethin different.

Another vote for th BFG's. I run the Mud T/As on my F350, and the All Terrains on my F150. I've run those tires on everything I've ever had. The Mudders don't wear on the street so well, an require more than average tire-rotating, but the traction is awesome, and they look great.

The all-terrains wear really well, look great also, and are aggressive enough for 99% of what I have to do. Both are not cheap though.

The more aggressive the tread the worse it will wear on the street. Cooper used to make a very agressive STT model. Goodyear makes the MTR. BF mud terrains. You dont want to run Super Swampers on the street, although they "look cool"!!

in my opinion BFG MT's suck for wear...... they are very aggressive but have a soft rubber compound so they dont last very long..... if you actually do any off roading and its not just for looks then go Firestone Destination MT's they are Damn aggressive and they last...... plus you can stud them if u need.....
or the Dick Cepek Crusher < thats a cool lookin tire but i dont know about how they last or hook up

Yeah I had the bridgstone dueler A/T's it seemed like they lasted forever. Just so I dont look stupid Bridgestone and Firestone are the same right?
