Default Tires

looking to get some new tires after awhile. I want some all terrains an was looking into nitro terra grapplers or dueler all terrains. this is my truck as she stands now after her wash yesterday! It's a 03 FX4 with the tbars cranked an 2" blocks in the back. I plan on keeping my 17" stock FX4 rims and thinking about 33's. I want something to fill up my wheel well smore an look aggressive.

I know the mud grapplers are the most aggressive but I drive 40 miles highway Monday-Thursday to school an work plus my weekend driving. so getting mud grapplers would kinda be like wasting money. thats why I'm looking into the terra grapplers an thanks for the input!

I have 285/70/17s on my 98 f150, and they fill up the wheel well nicly. The tires I have are goodyear wrangler at/s and I actually really like them. They seem to be wearing well, and lasting well. Im not a hard core off roader and thats one of the main reasons I didnt go with a mud terrains, but I have seen some pretty nasty mud and snow and have yet to get stuck. I also find these tires are also great on snow covered roads and are very nice handling tires on dry roads. They could have alittle more grip on wet roads, but they dont hydroplane and thats the main thing. I read many reviews, and we have had alot of customers who have the dueler at revos, and they just dont seem to last. I bought my truck with the revos on it, and according to the service bill I got with the truck they only had 38,000 miles on them and I got another 2,000 miles out of them untill they were needed to be replaced. Another tire you may want to look into is the firestone destionation A/T, alot of people seem to like them. A friend of mine has the trail grapplers on his silverado, and they are a nice tire but his are wearing pretty fast, and he got stuck were I didnt, which could have been driving error or just luck. Look on tire rack, read the reviews. Its wat I did and im completely happy with my tires. Hope this helps!

Nitto's are over priced crap. I work in a tire shop in Northern California, and I advise my costumers against getting Nitto's. They are a soft tire that wear really fast. If your gonna go with a Nitto or a Bridgestone, go with the Bridgestone. Their a little pricey, but of the two, it's the better option. I would advise you to take a look at BF Goodrich. Their a good mid priced tire if you don't go off road. If you do go off road and you have deep pockets, go with Mickey Thompson. There super aggressive and will do very well in the trails, but they will tank your gas mileage and hum something fierce on pavement. Good luck!

Most aggressive looking tire. Is more like an a/t tire. Ride is smooth and hardly any noise from them. Makes my truck look mean.

I'm running terras. Good tire so far. Can't really comment on the mileage as I only got 11000km on them right now still look new tho. But for 600$ I can't complain.

I have the general grabbers AT 2s and I love them I believe they are only 31s but they look just like bfgs but cheaper. They also make very little road noise to be all terrain tires
