I was going to suggest duratracs just as he did above me. They are spendy, but they are absolutely awesome tires. crank your t-bars a little bit and throw 285-70-17 duratracs on there and you won't be getting stuck any time soon. Either those, or I would go with silent armors.

I got Hankook ATM's on my truck and I love them, their reasonably priced, good tread pattern and it takes a lot for the 4.6 to break them loose. I havnt heard of guys having problems with them and it's a 50000 mile tore too. Just a thought.

well no new tires for me... i placed my order for 2 sets of tires from treadwright.com over the weekend and got an order conformation email then today i get another email saying their site made an error and they needed another $218.48 before shipping my order. i'll never recommend them. i feel if your site makes an error and you accept the order and payment then its your responsibility to honor the order and fix your site.

Post your story on their facebook page.. I'll bet you they will fix it for you if they are getting bad exposure from it. Their facebook page is very active, and whoever runs it is on there daily. Just an option.

So guys if I have a 2wd and want to buy the BFG 285/70/16 can I use my same original rim? Mine is 4.6 2000 or should I get a leveling kit and lift kit or body lift?

The stock tire 255/70 is 30.1x10
The 285/70 tire is 31.7x11.2

You will be fine with the tire you may have to trim the front valence a little bit (air saw works great)

I'm not sure about a 2wd.. I have no idea what will fit on those without any type of lift. On a 4x4 a 285/70/16 would fit just fine.
