I currently have the back windows and sunroof tinted, per factory. I was wondering if I should go darker than factory (all the way around) or just pay to only have the two fronts darkened to match everything else? What is everybodys thoughts?

 

It all depends on wants and where you live. Typically you can go dark as you want in the rear(even limo tint) but you cant have any tint on the driver or pass doors. At least thats the law here in illinois. If yours is different then, def tint darker all the way around. Makes the truck look a whole lot nicer.

 

Do what you think looks best and what you like.

Here in Texas you can do up to 25% on front windows and 5% on back windows and visor on front the windshield

 

I have 5% all the way around even the eye brow, anytime I ever get a new truck that is the first thing I will do, it's amazing!!

doode ^^ that must SUCK trying to back up at night, even with whatever tint mine has, i cant see anything out my back window at night

 

Does anybody know what % the factory tint is on the rear windows?

 

i have 2.5% on the back an 20% on the doors when i drive i dont wanna be seen but at night its hard to back up

 

Stock is 20% and yes at night it sucks lol i roll the windows down sometimes but I put LED's in my back up lights so it helps.

 

Wow i was just a carsmart getting my back window done in my old truck and 2.5% wasnt even an option. They had the choices posted on the wall in the shop area. I got 5% and it was a pita to see out the back window but 2.5 would be tough. Would look awesome though and keep you getting mad at stupid ppl who dont know how to turn their brights off!!
