the reason why i have 2.5% on the back is bc of the stupid a** with there brights on ..cant really see because of the headache rack

Yeah tell me about it I put 5% over top of factory tint on the rear and 20% on the side. It looks nice, and I think it's totally worth the privacy. But you can't see S#!t out the rear window at night

They just changed the law for tinting. I live in Texas so I am not sure if this is in every state or just here. I have tint in my truck and stang. When i went to get my stang inspected they said the law changed and mine was too dark on my front windows and I was below the ASA line on the windshield. The back can be as dark as you want. I would find out what your state will allow you to do so you will not have an issue with inspection. I did find out if you have a note from your doctor that you NEED tint you can go as dark as you want.

Bottom line is do what YOU think is best for YOUR liking. I enjoy mine being really dark because it looks cool but now that I am almost 50 years old...when I drive at night it is harder to see LOL

BTW, it is really easy to tint them yourself. Pull your door panels off inside and follow instructions on how to tint them. Leave your panels off for a couple of days to make sure it is good and dry PLUS its just easier to install tint
