Would this work on a 1997? I know it's the same motor on all the trucks, but it doesn't make sense why Ford would discontinue the part for 97-98 trucks. I would be so glad if the later cables do fit mine... I'm going to call Ford and ask to see what they say. Thanks.

 

look u p the length of the aftermarket your looking at, then look up the stock length of what you have. that should tell you if itll work.
