Does anyone know if a 5.4L cable will work on a 4.6L? If not, I will just have to do the zip tie mod for now.

Has anyone installed a Lokar throttle cable in a 4.6? I read that a guy on here did. I'm pretty sure they are adjustable.

I would do the ziptie mod to at least rid some of the slack but not all of it since it seems sketchy to you, and while that's temporally repaired you can find the cable you need and have better throttle response in the meantime untl you replace it. idk about lokar, but I only have 1 inch maybe of slack so 1 heavy duty ziptie did the trick.

I would think 4.6 is the same as 5.4 in throttle cable size.. I thought they were the same except different overall sizes
