I wish that would have been an option for me. It's too far gone though (both sides).

Wow thanks ! Definetly wil look into that befor the next appt. Curious why I haven't come across the PRF treatment.

Diagnosed w/PSA in 2000. Was on Enbrel for 20 years, that took care of it ALA I stay on it. Switched to Methotrexate which lost some of it's affect after heart failure.2 years ago. So now dealing w/skin and joint issues. Spots or legions. It all goes w/PSA it's a joint and skin disease.in one. Auto immune.

Anyway, AFA the PRF, I've went in for the part , the phlebotomy but I don't recall a PRF being included. They take a pint , make sure I can walk and kick me out the door. Apparently there's too much of something in the blood. It sounds like a PRF would be a benefit. Def will look iinto it, But yeah, haven't heard of it. Wonder if it's a newer thing.

Thanks!

Brew: PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) is a new/improved "version" of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). I assume you found info online describing the process. They're generally found used in sports injury treatment more than general medicine.

Insurance generally doesn't cover it, but my first treatment was about $1K with pre- and post-treatment office visits. The second treatment was about $500 without those. Treatments were about a year apart. Definitely worth investigation. 👍

I got one for Christmas but have yet to use it. A guy I know has one and loves it, which is why I put it on my list for Santa.

Good to know! I keep seeing them in videos, and I like the idea over the open flame I have been using. Brew has some evidence of that too...

Thanks CO!

I can't remember when I bought mine.
It's been years and I love it.

How durable is the "element"? I can already see that my brain will want to bend that metal to go from vertical to horizontal, for example.

They are soft copper and very bendable.
I have a couple that were used a lot, and the insulation is failing before the element.
