Reminds of that guy in front of Home Depot the other day selling hot dogs.

What's in the Columbia bag I wonder...scratch that.
He's gone this morning, but classically left a lot of his $4!t behind..... including the Columbia bag.

Slept in the basement family room last night. Too stinkin' hot and humid in the attic, and I just don't fit on a twin bed (spare room). Parents keep the A/C set at 78°. (Ugh.)

I just realized I never mentioned: I'm in Ohio because my mom's in the hospital (again). Was planning to leave Saturday afternoon, but might end up extending a few days. The cardiac doc was in yesterday talking about installing a pacemaker on Friday. I guess that's a relatively minor thing these days , but she'll need a little recuperation time, and my dad just isn't up to the task anymore. Looking at in-home care options.

I've been very busy at work... so not been posting much.
The subject came up with mom, she's getting her shoulder done for now...replaced in the near future. Looks like I'll be staying there at least part of the time. Looks like she'll be able to go next day after the surgery. Yeah, they are really getting things down to a science now a days. Nothing as serious as what you guys parents are dealing with.

That so called covd/heart failure got my right kidney. Went w/o o2 for too long I guess. That's what it does, starves your internals of oxygen. They didn't give me a percentage afa function. So is this with both your dads kidneys white ?

Liter bugs are disgusting. The person in the car dumping their ashtray in road in front of me is infuriating

There is no smoking gun as to "what" is causing it, but he does have diabetes... which I am sure is part of it. But - he does manage it to some extent. Not perfect, but he takes his meds.

I gave Marco's some more of my money tonight. That dang deluxe just pulls me right in.

I am getting some weird very short term "humming" noises on the Escape coming out of a turn after a dead stop. I knew the pads were getting low, so I ordered some (rotors still look new). I took these off, and can't help but wonder if this was the hum? It's gone now.

I've never seen pads do this.

The Escape has had an exhaust leak that I've had a really hard time finding. So I hooked up the smoke machine to it today. There's a hairline crack in this resonator right on the weld.

Do you guys think that's weldable??

The crack is about 75% around...

My neighbor has the same issue i think.
He bottomed the car out badly and got an exhaust leak at the head where the header bolts on.
He took it apart and I helped him get it back together and had him tighten everything up.
Still had a leak, so we took it apart and checked the gasket and it looked fine.
I got to thinking he might have cracked a weld on the header just like that.
So, I fixed the old, deteriorated hose on the smoke machine and told him to drive it over.
He was frustrated with it and told me he is going to take it to his buddy's shop and pay....
I told him drive it down and we can smoke it and video where it is leaking and you can show him.
I told him time is money and if you save him time it might save you money.

Seems like it is leaking around the pipe where it is welded into the flange.

I would love to just hack this damn resonator out of there, and put a straight pipe there. but it curves immediately after the weld.
