It's a single stage and a big one at that. Sorry but , they are the worst.
Strongly suggest more research.
Well, I bought a 30-gal horizontal Craftsman at a pawn shop a few years ago, and it needed a new compressor. The machine shop I took it to to make a new mounting plate and machine the pulley fell upon hard times, and couldn't complete the work. He's giving me this in exchange. I had about $250 on the old one including a replacement HF compressor. My current one is an old (ollllld) Craftsman 20 gal that I paid $25 for about 25 years ago. It has a bolt in the tank where a pinhole developed, and has slowly begun to take longer to fill. I'm on borrowed time with that one. I was on Garage Journal, and it seems that everyone that has this compressor likes it. I expect this should fit the bill at least for a while.

I just (probably) got a big job. The Camry that I've done a few things on needs some work. I think there's a coolant blockage somewhere. Or... it has a really odd blown head gasket.
I think it means that I talk.... err type a lot. My parents always got phone calls from my teachers saying I was talking while they were teaching, lol.
