Laid my 80 gallon down. It shouldn't leak or hurt it. Mine was top heavy as hell..
Everything I've read says that unless there's no oil in it, it should be shipped upright, because oil can get into the cylinder, and cause hydrolock. I kind of like Phil's idea of draining, transporting, and refilling.
I need to come up with a bigger compressor too. I asked about the IR at work, and the VP told me to ask him again in a couple months because they're not sure if they want to use it.
Now that I mocked it up with both on there, and got it close to ride height (the rear is not at full squat), I'm kinda OK with black.

I agree, and kind of wondered what it would look like. If you could tint the windows fairly dark, that might help tie everything together. You could do a black body/bumper molding stripe, too.
Mock it up (again)!

Frankie might get axle dumps.... or I may need to adjust the tail pipes. I've got them so there's a good gap between the fuel tank. I think some slightly shorter tires would be beneficial too.
I'll have to decide if I want to bolt it to the floor, or just put a strap around it so it can't fall over. I guess that will depend on how top-heavy it is.

I started in on the Explorer today. Just replaced the TCC solenoid. Added a drain to the pan too. I'm in the house cleaning off my camera.... just in case it runs long, lol.
I have this squeak coming from under my Lexus. It is intermittent and sounds like a bearing. I pulled all the calipers and regreased the hardware. I greased the rear driveshaft and rebuilt the front. I put it on stands and turned the wheels, and even ran it in gear, but it only squeaks uphill between 10 and 14 mph. If this squeak is a pinion bearing or a t-case bearing, that'll be the deciding factor in whether I regear axles or t-case, but I don't know how to pinpoint an issue that only occurs in such narrow conditions. Anybody have any ideas how I can narrow this down?
