Since Micro$oft is forcing Windows 11 down our throats this year, and my current PC has an i7-2600 processor from 2011, I ordered a refurb Dell Precision 3450 with an i7-10700, a 512MB SSD and 16GB of RAM yesterday. That should keep me going for awhile. Surprising? The darned thing has a 9-pin serial and PS2 keyboard and mouse ports!
The PC arrived today packed like it was made of glass. Very impressed!
Whitey: Is there any reason I should bump the memory to 32GB? I'm not going to be gaming, and doubt that I'll ever want to edit 4K video but I found this PNY XLR8 2x8GB memory kit for only $28, and it seems like I "just should."
Damn straight 15 or 16 rivets to drill out, most of them steel and going through an aluminum inner panel
Fixed now but I needed a beer when done
Took me 4 hours, course I had to go get more rivets and took a break
Absolute nightmare, Hitlers revenge for sure
