Tire shop.

My oldest daughter woke me up because there's a mouse in her window well.... been up since 3 am. Only places open are 7-11 and Maverik right now, and neither have mouse traps. HD opens soon, and I'm going to go get a gamut of mouse trap products. I need a damn cat.

Duncan flushed out a mouse last week. It had gotten in through a small hole between the French doors on the deck that I had not resealed the weather stripping after having things painted. His sniffer was in overdrive! It ended up scurrying into a closet and I promptly jammed a towel under the door, and went to the garage for the shop vac. I started removing things one by one from the closet floor and then sucked him up!

Oh, then he started sniffing around again the next day, and we ended up doing the entire dance a second time with rodent #2 The weather stripping got repaired, and a Tomcat bait block was secured on the deck rail out of D-man's reach.

I have some of the old school Victor traps with a kill bar out there now. It's possible there are two mice. After we get these, I need to clean out the window wells. I'm usually on top of this in April/May, but I put it off due to shoulder surgery.

Ohhhh... I also put out a Tom Cat bait box. Now they just need to eat. Whooooooa.... just as I typed this, I think I heard one pop. Going to go check.

EDIT: False Alarm/Wishful "Thinking".

That seems like a good alternative. I almost bought the Victor bait box that looks like that. I don't see that exact one at HD. But willing to drive to SLC to get one at Lowe's!

Thanks DJ!

I had one run into the garage the other night.
I chased it under one of the toolboxes, then grabbed a trap off the shelf put some peanut butter on it and set it in front of the tool box.
Within 15 minutes I got the little bastard.
Then last night getting the rear bumper out of the Camaro I found mice crap.
Going to set a couple traps in there next.
