Thinking v2
If you tap into the control ckt somewhere you could add a magnetic switch. You'd add a strong magnet anywhere on it. To use the welder you'd put it over the hidden switch. A thief would have to take it to a repair shop and answer why he is not simply returning it for an exchange if it's new and bad. Just call shops and advise them to call you or the cops when it comes in. Photo your SN, now.
LOL! I was just alluding to you having mentioned the fact that Ford left nothing much we could do in tuning a 10th Gen, (except turbo$,) but did in the 11th... And I asked for more details. Hoping for the favor of your reply. No rush though, if you are even willing to tell us more about that sometime.
I'm presently at the SF Dia de Muertos 'celebration.,' packing up. 60°F, breezy and cold.

Like I've already said, with the gen 10's all tuners could manipulate is shift points. You have your economy, performance and tow tunes. These where known as "canned tunes".
It wasn't until gen 11 you could do a bit more with those tunes and actually tweak HP a bit. That's what was meant by Ford leaving something on the table,
But absolutely not...I didn't post anything like that in the post being referred to.
