Well... que up the adrenaline. Just had a guy pounding on our door in the middle of the night. I looked at the camera, and had no idea who it was. He kept checking the door, trying to open it. So I had my Wife call the cops. PD was very responsive, and showed up fast. The feller was quite intoxicated, and thought this was his house. The Officer said he lives somewhere close by though. Scared the **** out of us!
That is scary !

I for one would have stopped the threat, so to speak.
And then the legal and civil crap that would follow would probably put me in the poor house.
I had a golf club ready to go, lol. I think I'm going to get a Ring doorbell camera so I can talk to someone without being right at the door. I didn't want to go to the door in case he had something that could go through the door.
The cops knew who he was. Said he lives somewhere fairly close. They arrested him though. He broke my damn UPS/FedEx box that I built. They asked if I wanted to charge him with property damage, but I'd rather just never see him again.

I am doing a backup of the incident last night. I didn't realize at the time how long he'd been in my yard... Nearly an hour between when he arrived, and when he was taken away. And they took him rather quickly.
