Water in the tank, agitated, so it gets picked up?
Nah, definitely electrical. Too abrupt to be fuel.
I take that back. It occurred to me that it did this once before, and that was my fuel pump. I also have this periodic fuel gauge twitch, so maybe I got a dud Motorcraft pump. Damn thing only has 6kmi on it.

Weird... I just went back over the same bridge, twice - the second time, it felt normal, but the first time it felt like driveline binding or a transmission issue. I felt the same weirdness backing over the bump into my driveway, too.
I might have saved a young man's new mini-cooper with a new engine fire with one of these just 3 months ago. No doubt it was totalled by the time crews got to it.
What do Firemen usually carry in pickup-sized vehicles?
Are they, esp in personal vehicles, usually mounted?

My OD Off light has taken to only working some of the time. Any tips? How does the end of the shifter come off? I'd assume threads, but the manual is unclear.
Bookmarked for later. The bulb still works, sometime. Seems like when it's hot, it stops, but the switch still turns off OD. You think just replace it?
