I WAS going to get a HF palm sander, but they are slower, and I lack STAMINA. THIS chemo round seems not as bad, (though identical,) but I have to move on this. Thx for ideas and reminders. I know belts are the worst approach.

Ok, you, weather timing, did it. Gonna bite the bullet with #2.
It's random AND variable speed. #4 has a bag. 🥺 I like bags.
THX!!! I needed the nudge, esp hearing palm sanders can be fast, too.
The top 100 w Amazon:
Amazon Amazon

EDIT: Random Variable Spd Orbital $79, Discs $18, DeWalt Bag $15, Vac adaptor $10, 4 yrs Dropsie Insurance, $14. Tax, ~$150-ish. 2-3x my target, but the right tool, less hassle.

Palm sander - random orbital sander. The variable speed is nice but not necessary.

Jitterbug - dual action..can also wet sand. (Those are at the bottom of the page you posted).

A cheaper Harbor Freight palm sander w/some good paper would make it fairly simple. All you would prob need.

Gotta fix my Porter Cable pancake. No Jitterbug this year, but thx for the education!

The sander arrives Saturday, but planning to work on weekdays to not "annoy" neighbors. "Work" is frowned on, despite the motto, "The Industrial City."

I've no doubt been told, and misplaced, paint type '01's had... And which primer I must use/avoid. Please? Again? Anyone? So I can order it. TIA.

I plan on stripping most of the paint on the Camaro.
I got this over the winter from Amazon.
Similar to the Eastwood one but cheaper.

Finally got the oil change done on the truck. My biggest issue was getting it up on my ramps, one ramp would keep sliding. Decided to use an old carpet in the garage and put the ramps on that and it was cake. Next up, the Transmission, need to get a new filter and new pan, want one with a drain plug.

I added one of these in the low sump of my pan. I'll see if I have any pics. I RTV'd the back side, just to make sure it never leaks.

This is the best pic.... they all turned out horrible. Can't believe that I remembered the right timeframe so quick. This was June of 2018.

I've seen guys weld threaded parts on. It's not as nice but I use a drain that you use.a.wrench to hold the drain nut in place, and another to remove the drain. $10-15, and they work.

I do ferret out a magnetic plug. See them $15-20, and then 5 packs for the same price. V odd. Yes, there's a sump magnet, but I want one I can inspect for anything IT picks up. That is my canary.
